The Story of a Visual Artist
Growing up, I always had a fascination with storytelling. While others were lost in novels or films, I found my inspiration in the world around me—capturing fleeting moments that often went unnoticed. It all started with a simple point-and-shoot camera gifted to me by my parents on my thirteenth birthday. I remember running around the backyard, snapping pictures of everything: my dog chasing butterflies, the golden light of the sunset, and the laughter of my friends. Each click of the shutter felt like a tiny piece of magic.
I remember my dad always video taping our family outings, birthdays, and sports event. Til' this day I am still watching those films. There is something about being able to watch a video of the past and being able to feel that moment now, present time.
My hobby of taking photos and videos slowly became a way to express myself. Being able to feel the emotion through a photo or video. There is nothing quite like that.
Fast forward to 2022, a friend of mine requested that I take their wedding photos. I had no idea what I was getting into, but yet still had this excitement and adrenaline running through my body. I remember the look on the grooms face as he saw his bride walk down the isle. I was able to capture that moment, a moment that last forever. A moment that explains every emotion a person can feel for someone they love. I was able to capture LOVE.
I over the years, I have made many connections with other professionals who love what they do. We have collaborated over the past 2 years and have now formed, what we call Pixalab Visuals.
